No one in our local community should have to face going hungry. But food poverty in Salford is on the increase.

A record number of food bank parcels have already been distributed throughout the pandemic by Salford Foodbank, who have worked tirelessly, and donations are still very much needed.

If you are able, please visit the Food Giftbox at MediaCityUK, simply drop in food donations, and in turn help raise the spirits of local families and people most in need. Or explore the map below to find a local donation point close to you.

There are no greater gifts than wellbeing and happiness. By coming together and tackling one of the city’s biggest problems, food poverty, we can help create a healthier and brighter future for all.
